Do you want to:

- Become a Teaching Assistant?

- Develop your Teaching Assistant Qualification?

- Improve Your Job Prospects?

Teaching Assistants work throughout the UK in primary, secondary or special schools and even in nursery settings - either working with individual children, small groups or the whole class.

A key role of the Teaching Assistant is to help raise educational standards in the classroom by providing support for the pupils, the teacher and the school. A Teaching Assistant will inevitably support pupils with literacy, numeracy and ICT and will often work with pupils with special educational needs.

Working as a Teaching Assistant can be a lot of fun and extremely rewarding - not to mention tiring!

As an OCR, fully accredited, Teaching Assistant Training Centre we can offer you a comprehensive suite of nationally recognised teaching assistant qualifications - a range of teaching assistant qualifications that few other colleges can offer. Qualifications that will help secure your future!

Unlike your local college, we do not have a 'conveyor belt' approach to the way that we deliver our teaching assistant courses - ours is not a 'numbers game', each one of our learners is treated with respect, as an individual and not just a name or number on a list!

We are committed to academic excellence and have a highly supportive, highly qualified and experienced teaching and assessment team who are skilled practitioners and come from from a range of educational backgrounds in teaching and assessment.

With us, you can start your study when it suits you, learn at your own pace and......our course fees are realistic, affordable and with 'no strings' attached. In fact, we offer more in every way.

As well as offering you the very best support, we also offer you the flexibility that you need to fit your study around your busy life. Unlike most colleges (when you start your course when it suits them), with us you can choose when to start. and.......there will be no maths and english courses and tests to contend with!

Mainy training providers that you will have seen on the internet advertise their course fees at 'too-good-to-be-true' prices. Be careful, because those courses will probably be 'too-good-to-be-true', won't be accredited, nor will they be nationally recognised. On the other hand, your local college will be advertising their courses at twice, or even three times the cost of the same courses that we offer - and usually have 'strings' attached!
